[Please support the official release. There are completed stories in my collection.]
[Upcoming story "I Train Dragons in the Entertainment Industry" is looking for readers. The heroine is a little wicked, and she puts the horns on her cage.]
Choi Yuan is a famous actress in Korea.
She's talented, elegant, and beautiful. Every film and show she's appeared in since her debut has won awards, topped the national ratings, and become a hit at home and abroad.
With no scandals or controversy, she is the country's youngest Best Actress and Best TV Actress, as well as the "dream girl" of both actor fans and idol fans.
"Other people fawn over soloists. I'm different: I fawn over my oppa and Yuan pairing up in a drama. I go absolutely wild and dream about them nonstop!"
"Ahhh, can Choi Yuan please help my girl become a star!"
"I'm bringing my boy to bow before the Best TV Actress. Please, help my boy out!"
Choi Yuan's fans read the comments from these "suck-ups," their faces wearing three parts helplessness, three parts mockery, and four parts smug delight.
"Stop fawning. Your oppa is too ugly. Our Best TV Actress can't handle the shock."
"Talk about having no self-awareness. Your ugly son, with his dead-fish acting, thinks he deserves to work with our girl? Don't even go there!"
"Our girl has already hit her KPI for this year. Don't waste your time fawning, everyone. Get in line and wait until next year."
At this point, the fans could only sigh in exhaustion. Like everyone else, they both loved and resented Choi Yuan.
They loved that she refused bad dramas and cheap endorsements, treasured her reputation, and was a genuine actress with skill, a good reputation, and a body of work. They resented how carefree and lazy she was. There were twelve months in a year, and she only spent three of them acting. The other nine months, she was "slacking off"!
While others joined a production, Choi Yuan played golf on the course. While others attended events, she went horseback riding. While others went to work, she stayed home. Hey, she was just having fun!
But Choi Yuan never missed the award ceremonies others couldn't get into, and she always came home with a haul, much to everyone's jealous frustration.
In response, Best TV Actress Choi Yuan, accused of slacking off, asked three questions from the depths of her soul: What's wrong with loving life? What's wrong with working only three months a year? I've already gone to work, so what more do you want from me?
But when the new year arrived, Choi Yuan showed up to work with a script in hand. After meeting Che Yanyou, who was called "the limit of human beauty" and "a genius face," her attitude began to change.
When Che Yanyou gazed at her tenderly, called her noona, and took such thoughtful care of her, his impossibly handsome junior...
When he pinned her against the wall and kissed her passionately in front of dozens of people on set, enveloping her in a captivating scent she couldn't quite name...
With her heart pounding and her ears burning, Choi Yuan decided she quite liked working this year. It made her want to work for another month.
Of course, that was only if her male co-star was Che Yanyou.
The heroine loves life but hates working. There are both career and romance storylines. She's had a crush on him since she was young, and he pursues her. It's a two-year age-gap romance between an older woman and younger man.
I don't remember when I wrote this blurb, only that I revised it on 5.24.
Reading guide:
The heroine isn't based on a real person, so don't start arguments about it. The author is a hopelessly illiterate mess.
Everyone is out of character. They're fictional characters, so don't conflate them with real people. The names are homophones.
I like writing shameless characters and forum posts. Don't get too invested.
Theme: Say no to the rat race, starting with me.
Ah ah ah ah, the last sentence is so big, it's all the same as the heroine of humanities, so don't be a pitiful little bully.
Support, pregnancy and other things are really harmful to women's bodies.
Ahhhhhhhh so sweet!!!!!
Looking forward to the next article by Cha Eun-woo
