Picking Up Trash on a Wasteland Planet [Worldbuilding]

After completing her transmigration mission, Lin Muqiu inherited Planet B31.

Feeling exhilarated, she resolved to make a fortune and get rich beyond her wildest dreams.

Then, from the start, she transmigrated straight into a garbage dump.

According to everyone else, this planet was a worthless little dump of a world: heavily polluted and in desperate need of reconstruction. Other planets even treated it like a free dumping ground. If the locals protested, they'd get a sound beating.

Lin Muqiu: What garbage? This place is practically covered in cash!

The townspeople: It's over. The boss has gone mad!

*

While the townspeople worried about Lin Muqiu's mental state, they discovered that her bizarre schemes kept coming, shattering their understanding again and again

The wasteland everyone else saw: The metal content is way too high. Even plants won't grow here.

Lin Muqiu: Perfect for growing multifunctional metal! A great weapon for taking down enemies!

Everyone: ?

The meteorite debris everyone else saw: Extremely difficult to clear and a huge nuisance.

Lin Muqiu: Then let's hurry up and collect it for forging weapons!

Everyone: ??

The garbage processing plant everyone else saw: Nothing but useless scrap metal.

Lin Muqiu: Let's put together the materials we've collected and make you all some fully equipped mechs!

Everyone: Boss, please stop picking things up. You're scaring me...

The townspeople nervously climbed into their shoddy, fully equipped mechs, afraid their lord had gone crazy or would give up and run away.

But they waited and waited, and Lin Muqiu never left. Instead, they grew stronger, the planet grew richer, and every kind of construction project came under their control. Their infrastructure-building skills became the best in the star system.

Every time other planets dumped their garbage, she accepted it all, turned it into treasure, and sold it right back to them at a high price.

If they refused, the townspeople would put on their mechs and pay them a personal visit: Weren't you so fond of dumping garbage? Hand it over, or we'll give you a sound beating!

The planets that had once bullied the little dump wailed, clutching their heads: Other people steal money, but you steal garbage? Is there even one normal person on your planet?!

Note: The other planets once forced the little dump to sign a thousand-year treaty, which is why it demands their garbage! It's a planet of justice!
