[Main story complete. Next up: So I Was the Book of Life and Death All Along.]
Yuan Zhuoxi was the last guardian deity in the world. His true form was a panda.
He had just woken from a long slumber when he was rescued and brought to a zoo, where he was given the name Yuanxi.
He was only freeloading on food and lodging at the zoo, but unexpectedly went viral online and even gained the power of faith.
Could things get any better?!
A visitor accidentally fell into the enclosure. The zookeepers prepared to rescue them in a panic. Yuanxi, don't hurt anyone!
But they saw the giant panda lower its head, letting the visitor climb on and get out.
Rescuing panda cubs, saving kidnapped children...
After gathering enough power of faith, Yuan Zhuoxi could finally return to human form. But before he could enjoy even a few days of a carefree life, he sensed the presence of evil spirits and heard his followers calling for help again.
Yuan Zhuoxi: This is driving me panda-crazy!
[Reader's Guide]
1. This isn't exclusively a panda story. The panda portion and the supernatural elements in human form each take up about half the story.
2. The tone leans serious. Mythological figures appear later, along with references to some folk legends.
3. The protagonist is still growing up. He's a minor, and his true form is a panda, so some of his behavior and way of thinking aren't quite human. Please don't insult him.
4. This story is entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real people or events is purely coincidental. Please don't associate it with reality.
[Friendly Reminder: Content Warnings]
If you come across anything unpleasant while reading, feel free to call the author out by name. Everyone paid for this, so don't hold back.
The chapter that's caused the most debate so far is Chapter 29, where the protagonist is abused.
If there are strong objections, I'll consider revising that plotline once the whole story is complete.
Thank you for enjoying and supporting this story.
Regarding people thinking the protagonist was a girl at one point: Gods have no clearly defined gender, and Yuanxi is an adolescent giant panda who is still underage. In his understanding, he can become whatever humans want him to be. This includes taking on the appearance of a young man. These are all forms he can assume, and none are fixed. He does this to fulfill his followers' wishes.
Regarding Yuanxi's good intentions sometimes getting in the way: He instinctively wants to protect people because he's kind. But he's a little one who slept for a very long time, was well protected, and is still underage, so he doesn't always think things through and can end up hindering others. His heart is in the right place.
*The protagonist's hairstyle is similar to the one on the cover. He can tie his hair back later.
Theme: Stay positive, sunny, and cheerful.
I think the third prince and the third prince of Xizhimen can play together...
Hua Yue's father, Hua Yuan's husband (I forgot the exact name) hahahahaha I remember that I bought all the previous chapters, and it still showed 100% success. How come I didn't buy many of them when I just scrolled forward?
What will happen when the Third Prince and the Third Prince meet?
My tears! So touching! If only this could really be the case!
On July 1st Party Founding Day, have all the pandas joined the party?
Are my sister-in-law and brother like Xu Xian and Bai Niangzi? Or is the sister-in-law the Baojiaxian invited by her brother? After all, the white paper umbrella only disappeared when I had a sister-in-law.
Wow! Can I still see Shen Qichi?_?
