She can't just start performing abdominal and brain surgery on people right away, and he doesn't get a golden finger that makes crops flourish overnight. 3. The author isn't an expert in either medicine or agriculture, so please just enjoy the story. 4. All the changes in the story take place in a parallel timeline and have no impact on our own. 5. The setting draws on some unofficial histories and includes occasional author inventions.
