Why Is Secretary Shen Resigning?

[Blurb]

Shen Zhiyin never expected the blind date her family arranged for her to be Gu Yancheng.

He's her boss, and the man she's had a crush on for years.

Not wanting to live with regrets, she went to meet him, risking the possibility of losing her job if things turned sour.

After a few dates, Shen Zhiyin felt good about things, so she took the initiative and told him she was fine with an arranged marriage, then asked what he thought.

Unlike her, Gu Yancheng was perfectly calm. "I have no objections either, but there's something I need to make clear beforehand..."

He looked at her with a cool, detached gaze. "I can give you everything you want, except love. If you can accept that, we can get married."

In other words, he would never love her.

Shen Zhiyin thought it over all night, but still turned him down.

She couldn't accept a loveless marriage, even with the man she'd been crushing on for years.

When Gu Yancheng received Shen Zhiyin's rejection text, he was a little surprised.

He hadn't thought she would turn him down. After all, she seemed so pleased with him.

But it was only a little surprise. They had different ideas about marriage, and it was better not to force themselves together.

He didn't care.

But Shen Zhiyin seemed to care a lot.

From that day on, she avoided him at every turn.

She was his chief secretary, and Gu Yancheng didn't want his private life to affect their work.

When Shen Zhiyin ran into trouble in her personal life yet again and asked another man for help instead of him, Gu Yancheng finally lost his patience. She was his employee. Shouldn't she come to him to solve any problems?

He called her into his office. Before he could point out her mistake, Shen Zhiyin handed him her resignation letter.

Gu Yancheng stared at the words "Resignation Application," his eyes stinging as if he'd been stabbed.

A tsundere man completely losing it
