[Genshin Impact] After Breaking Up, My Ex and I Pretend We Don't Know Each Other

Emilu has found a new job, and on her first day at the company, she runs into her ex-boyfriend.

Her ex is an ordinary company clerk who does unremarkable work. Apart from his generous salary, there is nothing special about him.

Her ex-boyfriend Alhaitham has plenty of flaws. He is unpleasant to talk to, loves to argue with people, and is known among his colleagues as “the worst-tempered person in the whole company.” He once argued a new employee into tears, and after work, he is impossible to find...

A decent ex-boyfriend should stay buried in the past. His only purpose is to give you someone to drunkenly rant about with your best friend.

Best friend: “Right, so you asked me out just to get drunk and insult him together?”

Emilu looked at the glasses of alcohol on the table and shook her head gravely. “No, I can't drink today.”

“Alhaitham and I made a bet. Whoever gets drunk has to do all the dishes at home, and it's his turn to do the housework today.”

Her best friend glanced behind Emilu. Ever since she had arrived, someone had been staring at her.

Best friend: “Heh.”

Unaware of what was going on, Emilu sipped milk tea to drown her sorrows and complained.

Even though her ex-boyfriend Alhaitham had plenty of flaws, Emilu couldn't help falling for him all over again, because he had this.

Best friend: “An encyclopedic mind? A substantial fortune? A brilliant brain fluent in several languages?”

“No.” Emilu shook her head and declared, “Of course it's because he has the biggest abs and pecs I've ever seen.”

Alhaitham had the best physique Emilu had ever seen. He said he got it by working out in the library. His cool, aloof face also fit Emilu's tastes perfectly.

Emilu: “You know how infuriating that guy is when he talks. Every time he opens his mouth, it makes you want to throw a sack over his head and beat him up. But his body is really nice...”

Later, Alhaitham took down the company's six major shareholders, brought the chairman back, and nearly became the company's CEO...

Anyway, his body hadn't changed, and his face hadn't gone downhill either.

Best friend: “So?”

Emilu: “We're back together for now. I can always dump him again.”

Best friend: “Heh.”

She knew it.

Sharp-tongued, cool-headed clerk x cheerful, sunny heroine who loves pretty faces

(Everyone from Teyvat in a modern setting. Just an ordinary little sweet romance, with lots of headcanon. Any out-of-character behavior is on me; the sweetness is for everyone.)
