Will My Beloved Return?

My instincts tell me the right person for me hasn't appeared yet. He will stand quietly by my side in the days I have left to live, even if that time isn't now.

Some people are like monuments. They are quiet, steady, even a little aloof, standing firm as they guard every inch of their territory, as if protecting a heart lost and helpless in a chaotic world.

Jin Liang and Qing Cheng started at the same point, then drew rays in different directions, destined never to cross paths again. But another ray, drawn from a different starting point, will intersect with hers. From then on, life will no longer be empty and meaningless. It will suddenly have a purpose.
