[I'll come back to continue writing once I'm done with other things.]
After dying and coming back to life again and again, Luni joins the Angel Corps to search for the reincarnation of the god who vanished while saving her.
She thinks it'll just be a long search across worlds, but then she suddenly receives an emergency notice.
The god's whereabouts have been detected at an academy, and she must take the entrance exam immediately.
The good news: During the exam, she unexpectedly discovers she has top-tier Guide talent.
The bad news: The program she applied for is... the Sentinel program.
Sentinels stand at the pinnacle of evolution.
With superhuman senses and extraordinary physical abilities, they have incredible combat power, but their minds are also prone to losing control.
Even worse, Guides have a fatal allure for Sentinels.
To find the person she's looking for, Luni grits her teeth and passes the exam, walking on eggshells the whole time.
But the price she pays is this:
Unfortunately, she becomes everyone's target.
The volatile dragon clan's top student leans close, his hot breath brushing her ear. "Luni, you're not really a Sentinel, are you?"
The gentle, mysterious scion of a powerful family takes her hand and laces their fingers together. "I've finally found you, Luni."
The aloof, inhuman outcast lightly touches her fingertips and whispers, "This isn't the first time we've met. Don't you remember?"

Who are you people?! Why do you all act like you know me?!
To get through campus life in one piece and find the god's reincarnation, Luni decisively chooses a single room in a remote attic that nobody wants.
Classes are held in different rooms anyway. It's not like she'll necessarily run into them...
With that in mind, Luni successfully begins her school life.
Until one night.
Luni opens the attic door as usual.
She's just about to flop onto her bed like always,
when her back suddenly hits a cold wall.
Shadows swallow her whole.
When she looks up, several faces she's been avoiding day and night have her surrounded in this tiny space.
The cramped attic is completely blocked off. In the darkness, several pairs of glowing eyes fix on her, and their scorching breaths mingle in the air.
"Why..."
"Have you never once looked our way?"
The low, hoarse question trembles through the air as they close in step by step. "And what should we call you to make you look at us?"
"You cunning little angel."
Luni's back is against the wall. With nowhere left to retreat, she stammers, "W-wait..."
She only wanted to find someone.
How did things end up like this?!
A little reader's guide:
1. The heroine is a crybaby who loves to complain, is delicate and timid, and runs away when she can't win. It's a trope-filled, self-indulgent, everyone-loves-her story. Since the author previously wrote Japanese-animation fanfiction, it has a very anime-ish flavor. Sorry about that.
2. The Sentinel-Guide setting includes a ton of personal headcanons. Expect plenty of tweaking, trimming, and adjustments.
3. ... (To be continued.)
4. No BL or GL.
Theme: You were born worthy of everyone's love.
