All-Round Support [Esports]

[The Dragon-Proud Neighbor Is Now Serializing!]

[My next novel is "Reborn as the Dragon-Proud Protagonist’s Twin Brother". The blurb is below. If you like it, please add it to your favorites, cuties! Mwah!]

After winning the World Championship, Qi Ji went to sleep after the celebration banquet. When he opened his eyes again, he had become a professional player in a parallel world, someone with the same name as him but three years younger.

At that moment, his new team was playing a best-of-five in the lower league, trying to qualify for the top league. They were one game away from being swept 3–0 and eliminated. It was the same game, but the version was three years old, and he didn’t recognize a single player on either team. Before he could even figure out what was happening, he was forced to take the field.

His original self played support. In the match, Qi Ji drew on his world-champion-level understanding of team compositions to set up a perfect team fight before the thirty-minute mark, score a pentakill, and push straight through the enemy base.

Teammates: !!!

Opponents: ???

Audience: ?!?!

Then, riding that momentum, they won the next three games and completed the reverse sweep.

“You call this support?!”

Faced with questions like that, Qi Ji replied with utmost seriousness, “Just tell me, did my teammates survive or not?”

“…” No one could find a response.

Over the next year, SG made the leap from the lower league to the top league and then to the World Championship, becoming a legend among professional teams.

Qi Ji became the league’s undisputed best support. With him around, every team fight was a 6v5, because there wasn’t a single role he couldn’t play: top, mid, bot, jungle, or support. He was also the only one allowed to flame four teammates at once without consequences.

Qi Ji: “The top and jungle were 0.5 seconds late going in that last fight. Mid, your ultimate was a little off, and ADC, you used Flash 0.3 seconds too early.”

Top, Mid, Bot, and Jungle: “You’re right, Father.”

*This is an alternate-universe power fantasy. Please don’t read it as a reflection of reality. The author doesn’t follow the real-life esports scene, and none of the characters are based on real people.

*The MOBA game has been adapted to serve the story. Readers looking for technical accuracy may want to steer clear.

*70% matches, 30% daily life.

Here’s the blurb for my next novel.

Qin Xiuyue thought he’d worked himself to death and gone to meet God, but instead of finding God, he became a fetus that was still growing and developing.

[Congratulations, Host, you have bound to the sign-in System. A Dragon-Proud Protagonist has been detected nearby. Double rewards awarded!]

Hearing the golden finger’s announcement, Qin Xiuyue turned to look at the other fetus sharing the womb with him. Had he heard that right? Was he the Dragon-Proud Protagonist’s twin brother?

Thinking of that certain orphanage trope, there was a good chance he’d die at birth, and his parents would probably die too.

To avoid his whole family’s tragic fate, Qin Xiuyue worked hard from the womb to suppress his little brother’s Dragon-Proud Protagonist aura.

Why be a cultivation aristocrat several generations deep when you could be a Dragon-Proud Protagonist rising from an orphan’s humble beginnings? As his older brother, Qin Xiuyue absolutely would not stand for it!

And so the Qin twins of the immortal family brawled from childhood, with Qin Xiuyue beating up his little brother one-sidedly.

Unable to take it anymore, Second Young Master Qin ran off to the lower realm to prove he was just as good as his big brother! Thirty years east of the river, thirty years west: he would defeat his brother!

After seeing how this story was meant to go, Qin Xiuyue decided it was still better than the villain’s script where his whole family was wiped out from the start.

Then, just as Second Young Master Qin finally fought his way back to the Qin family to issue his challenge, someone said:

“Second Young Master, the Eldest Young Master has already prepared your succession ceremony. Please proceed to the main city.”

The friends and family who had accompanied Second Young Master Qin stood by, dumbfounded.

What? Wasn’t he supposed to be the final villain?

* A comedic power fantasy.

Theme: Restore the glory of the support role. It’s our duty.”
