A year after her business marriage to Zhuang Mingqi, Zhou Xiao finds life terribly dull.
A stuffy husband who works nine to five and comes home on time, and her, spending tons of money every day.
Zhuang Mingqi has no hobbies besides work. He always wears a cold expression and has not a romantic bone in his body. Of course, he doesn't love her either. Zhou Xiao knows her place.
Though she isn't loved, Zhou Xiao still thinks she has the right to enjoy a romantic married life. That's Zhuang Mingqi's duty as a husband.
Their marriage agreement says: He must consider his wife's feelings and properly fulfill the normal obligations of a married couple.
He failed to do so.
So Zhou Xiao sued him!
The verdict stated that Mr. Zhuang Mingqi had to give his wife, Ms. Zhou Xiao, a bouquet of flowers and a good-morning kiss every day.
Zhou Xiao thinks that would be harder for him than dying.
As it turns out, she's right.
Unable to stand this cold violence any longer, Zhou Xiao asks for a divorce, claiming that a senior who has admired her for years and used to pursue her with a bouquet of champagne roses every day is waiting for her to escape this marriage and fall into his arms.
But on the day Zhou Xiao gets serious and drags her luggage out, Zhuang Mingqi pins her down and takes her by force in a frenzy.

Zhou Xiao once made a wish, saying she had a masochistic streak: "Marry a rich man who ignores me and treats me coldly, but spends lots of money on me."
She never expected to marry the renowned Zhuang Mingqi.
And Mr. Zhuang, who happened to overhear the young woman making her wish, took it to heart.
