[Reunion after years apart | Marriage first, love later] Synopsis:
Ten years ago, he was the campus heartthrob and top student, while she had boarded at his home for three years.
Ten years later, when they met again, she never expected him to be the notoriously difficult client, the man they called "the boss."
"What a coincidence, Brother Mingcheng."
"Can you leave out the 'brother'? Strictly speaking, I'm not your brother."
"..."
She knew he'd never thought much of her.
Maybe he thought having a sister like her would be embarrassing.
They met again at a matchmaking date!
Du Yi was sure Song Mingcheng had been forced by his family to come. Why else would he agree to a matchmaking date?
Besides, in her mind, she and Song Mingcheng were worlds apart. The two of them getting together was less likely than anything, even in their next two lifetimes. And it wasn't as if he would ever be interested in her.
Du Yi had already decided to play along and help him fob off their families.
"I'm 189 centimeters tall, twenty-eight years old, with a stable job and a good income. At this point, I plan to stop being single and start a family. If you think we're a good match, let's get together."
"..."
-
Song Mingcheng thought the most despicable thing he'd ever done was to deftly find someone's weak spot and use it to lure her into his trap.
"All you need to consider is whether what I offer is what you need."
Du Yi understood what he meant. They would each get what they wanted.
But she couldn't resist the temptation, and they got married.
"Post-marital doting" was the subjective term Song Mingcheng came up with after the wedding for what he called "pampering" her. It was... never mind, she couldn't bring herself to say it. In short, it was completely different from what she'd imagined.
1. A designer who only pretends to be prim and proper, Du Yi, x refined, rakish Song Mingcheng
2. Reunion after years apart / marriage first, love later / both inexperienced / he had a secret crush on her
I'm terrible at writing synopses! It's a sweet romance! I recommend going straight to the story!
Please add my upcoming novel to your reading list: Dream-Tinted Weather, a reunion-after-years-apart, marriage-first-love-later story.
Synopsis:
Su Zhi saw Zhou Yanshi again after many years at a banquet three days ago, with both their families' elders present.
The scene was almost like a matchmaking dinner. He arrived late, his coat draped over his wrist, then pulled out a chair and apologized calmly.
Su Zhi had never imagined this happening. In her mind, Zhou Yanshi and she were two parallel lines that would never intersect.
Like the moon always hanging over her, distant and unreachable, cold, bright, dazzling. Then one day, it was suddenly placed right in front of her and she was asked: Would she pick it, or leave it alone?
"What about you?" The two families had no objections to the marriage. Zhou Yanshi was asking her.
"...I have no objections either." Su Zhi's heart trembled with nerves, but her resolve didn't waver. She reached for the moon.
He was being pressured and hurried along by his parents, while she had her own unspoken troubles.
Zhou Yanshi nodded. "I'll come by to visit another day."
"..."
-
Zhou Yanshi had never fantasized about marriage.
But when he learned the other person was Su Zhi, he simply didn't refuse as he normally would.
Everyone who knew him thought a marriage forced on him like this wouldn't last.
Until one rainy day, someone happened to witness Zhou Yanshi, usually so distant and aloof, drenched to the skin and standing at someone's door, coaxing softly: "Honey, let's go home."
-
Many years ago, Zhou Yanshi happened to pick up a book. On the back page, someone had written, "I think I might like Zhou Yanshi," and the name on the cover was Su Zhi.
Years later, someone innocently erased the words "might like."
[Her secret longing was like weather at dusk, glimpsed by chance, after which there was no longer any way to stay out of it.]
A calculating, restrained, aloof medical professor x a sweet, gentle stage-play worker
| Everyday romance, both inexperienced, happy ending
| Seven-year age gap / she fell for him first / marriage first, love later
Theme: Life is beautiful when shared in harmony.
It's okay, but the emotional line of the male protagonist is not clearly expressed. I don't know when and why the male protagonist fell in love with the female protagonist, and I don't seem to see the source of "post-marriage pampering".
Let's hold hands together and spend a lifetime together! Tears! I am really lucky to know Song Moumou and Du Yiyi. Very well written!
I still want to read it~ It's so well written!
I stayed up late to read it, it smells so good
Join hands and spend a lifetime together I am honored to meet Song Moumou and Du Yiyi!
Hateful! I actually stopped here, thinking about watching Song Ke become a daddy after giving birth to a baby!

It's okay, but the male protagonist's feelings are not expressed clearly. I still don't understand the moment or the reason why he fell in love with the female protagonist.
Sprinkle flowers? It's really beautiful
I don't understand. Isn't the male protagonist older? Isn't he several years higher than the female protagonist? Why are they classmates again?
