Xie Yang was unexpectedly dragged into an infinite world by the System.
Along with family members and neighbors who were practically monsters, he also gained an elusive, eerie childhood friend who might be a dungeon boss.
[You must soothe your childhood friend to sleep every night]
[You've secretly had a crush on your childhood friend for ages]
His childhood friend didn't look much like a person. Forget soothing him to sleep, he liked to sit by the window every night and feel the breeze.
When Xie Yang dragged him down and tied him to the bed, he would get upset, too.
"I hate you" = exactly what it says
"Let's go out and have fun" = Get lost
Xie Yang dutifully played the role of a responsible childhood friend, until the day he received an acceptance letter from the Horror Vocational Academy.
When he turned around, he saw a glimmer of light in his childhood friend's usually pitch-black eyes.
"Love you" = happy
"Let's go out and have fun" = Hurry up and get lost
Reading the motto on the letter, "Build a harmonious campus and cultivate well-rounded talent," Xie Yang decided he shouldn't be the only one putting in effort at home.
So the boss became Xie Yang's bunkmate once again, and he had to keep cuddling his adorable childhood friend and soothing him to sleep every night.
Later, Xie Yang brought back a toddler version of his childhood friend from the Early Childhood Teacher Certification dungeon, then dismantled the bunk above the opposite bed to make a crib.
From the dungeon Volunteer Activity: Protect the Ocean, he brought back a mermaid version of his childhood friend and moved the opposite bed to make room for a huge fish tank.
The little-boy version from the Amusement Park Part-Time Job dungeon was at the age when he loved leaping around and throwing eyeball marbles at people...
Watching the dorm grow hopelessly overcrowded, his childhood friend's mood sank by the day. Most importantly, because of all these chaotic additions, Xie Yang was spending less and less time soothing him to sleep every night!
[Important: Reader's Guide]
1. The protagonist is the top. The protagonist is the top. The protagonist is the top! This is a return-to-writing project. If you want to criticize someone, criticize me, not my son.
2. This is my first time writing a pure-romance infinite-flow story. The plot should still take up a considerable portion, and I'll do my best not to disappoint.
3. Slow pacing, terrible logic, and a mountain of personal worldbuilding. Every character gets their share of the story. Some characters' values do not represent the author's, so please don't apply them to real life.
