It'll go premium on Tuesday, which is tomorrow, so hurry and read it if you haven't!
Also promoting my ongoing novel, The Sickly Crown Prince.
Her elder brother was the Crown Prince's study companion, and thanks to him, Jiang Fu often got to see His Highness, the Crown Prince, a man of outstanding talent and bearing.
Everyone said the current Crown Prince was an otherworldly immortal who had no need for worldly pleasures, but Jiang Fu didn't agree.
His Highness demanded the finest food, prepared to perfection. His clothes had to be the most fashionable, without a single wrinkle. He never looked anyone in the eye, and no matter what the matter was, he would offer the same cool verdict: "Acceptable."
Even the consorts and princesses didn't live as meticulously as he did.
The Crown Prince was of marriageable age and still unmarried, so choosing a Crown Princess was now urgent.
Her brother teased her, "My sister's beauty rivals the rosy clouds and the moon. She would be a perfect match for His Highness."
The proud Crown Prince lifted his chin ever so slightly and gave his usual assessment: "Acceptable."
Jiang Fu lowered her head, pretending to be shy, and secretly rolled her eyes.
If he didn't want to marry her, she didn't want to marry him either.
The Crown Princess selection was a grand affair. Jiang Fu pretended to be ill so she wouldn't have to attend, but she ran straight into the Crown Prince, who had come to her home for an appointment with her brother. He left in a black mood, flicking his sleeve.
Jiang Fu spent a while feeling uneasy. The crime of deceiving the emperor was no joke.
For several days, nothing came of it, and only then did Jiang Fu relax. The Crown Prince must have let her off because of her brother. With so many candidates at the Eastern Palace, they could spare one.
Then, on the first snowfall of the winter solstice, she received a little snow cat, lovingly made by His Highness himself. He stood before her and awkwardly said:
"It's snowing today. Let's make up."
Jiang Fu stared at the little cat he'd sculpted from snow, bewildered. When had they ever quarreled? And why would they need to make up?
A romantic comedy between the leads, stirred up by the heroine's reborn brother. The hero thinks the heroine is madly in love with him.
There's no most childish, only more childish.
A rebellious, well-read noblewoman who acts sweet but is actually contrary, and loves reading romance stories / A proud, vain, fussy, innocent Crown Prince
Novel blurb
I see you on the Huanhua Brook,
Your bright eyes and delicate brows.
I ask if he has come,
You smile and say, "Don't be so sure."
(Meaning: don't get ahead of yourself.)
The leads' version:
A woman's hairstyle was so elaborate that Shan Rudai was still getting ready, while Wei Lang was already dressed. He admired his reflection in the mirror for a while, then smugly asked Shan Rudai, "Who's more handsome, me or Gu Sanlang?"
They were newlyweds, and Shan Rudai already knew what he was like. She had no desire to argue, so she simply went along with him, smiling sweetly. "You're so handsome, my lord. How could Gu San compare to you?"
It wasn't exactly a lie. To be fair, Shan Rudai also thought Wei Lang was much better-looking than Gu Changce. She just didn't know why he had to bring up that unlucky man first thing in the morning.
Hearing her answer, Wei Lang grew even more pleased with himself.
The next day, Wei Lang asked again, "Gu Sanlang's good looks are famous throughout the Central Plains. A Dai, do you really think I'm more handsome than he is?" It was phrased as a question, but the confidence on Wei Lang's face betrayed how certain he was of the answer.
Shan Rudai was helpless. They were newly married, and Wei Lang was gorgeous, so she could put up with him for a while. She smiled coyly. "Gu San is cruel and ruthless. How could he compare to you, my lord, so graceful as an orchid and bright as the moon?"
Wei Lang was even more delighted.
On the third day, Wei Lang asked the same question again. Shan Rudai was still half asleep. She let out a cold laugh and hurled a pillow at him, answering with a single word: "Get lost." The pillow wasn't soft cotton, but solid porcelain. Her eyes were shut, and she had thrown it carelessly, without much force. Wei Lang dodged it effortlessly, and the porcelain pillow hit the floor with a loud thud.
Shan Rudai was still angry, and she wouldn't let him rest at night or during the day.
Wei Lang slunk out of the room, rubbing his nose, but he was even happier inside.
As expected, A Dai really did love him to bits. She thought comparing him to Gu Changce was an insult to him. Fine, since A Dai didn't like him debasing himself, he wouldn't bring it up again.
Other people's Systems: golden fingers
Shan Rudai's Systems: hopeless romantic, flirt, black lotus, yellow moonlight
Shan Rudai: I won on quantity. Let's not talk about quality.
Other people's male leads: devoted, swoon-worthy, madly in love with the heroine
Shan Rudai's male lead: skip the first part and go straight to crazy
The ambitious die by their ambition, schemers by their schemes.
Those who seize others by force are seized by force.
Those who like substitutes become substitutes.
Those who toy with feelings have their feelings toyed with.
Please check out my upcoming novels, everyone! Kisses!
Theme: Better to rely on yourself than on others.
Each of these men is sicker than the last!
Ahhhhh Xiao Gu deserves it hahahahahahahahahahahahaha so funny
So the male protagonist? At first I thought he was the eldest cousin. After all, he was an upright man and the heroine had a slight affection for him. Who knew he was dead? Is the male protagonist Gu? Gu is a little crazy, but he is much better than people like Wen.
Ah ah ah no more today. I just got off work. I hate it.
. It turns out you are stupid too x
You really don't treat people as human beings, Xiaowei can really do that! Brother-in-law is also good
Ah, ah, Wei Lang Sai Gao!
A group of mentally disturbed people
It's embarrassing, I thought Gu Yifeng should be the big villain and fight to the end. He never thought he would die, but Little Wen jumped to the end. Although unexpected, it is also reasonable.
The sister-brother-husband pair is also quite easy to get along with.
