I Have All the Redemption You Want

[There are so many things I can't write about. I'll leave this aside for now.]

Before the Salvation System came to him, Pei Yuanqing was a people's teacher who had dedicated his life to education.

For half his life, he taught in the countryside, sponsored countless students, and trained who knows how many outstanding talents.

But Pei Yuanqing still felt it wasn't enough.

In the moment before he closed his eyes, he couldn't stop thinking about his students' report cards. He also remembered a school trip in elementary school, when they visited a juvenile detention center.

Their homeroom teacher pointed to the faces of the young offenders, warning them with every word: "You must never become people like this."

His classmates looked around at the bleak iron bars and high walls, vowing to take the lesson to heart.

Pei Yuanqing stood to one side, gazing at those young, wooden faces.

They were in the prime of youth, yet looked lifeless, as though their lives had already come to an end.

As he watched, an untimely thought began to take shape in his mind.

If only someone had reached out to them back then.

#Heaven gave me a heart that pities all living things, but not the power to save them all#

#Fortunately, it gave me that power later#
