When Igarashi Kazami accepted his neighbor's invitation to play volleyball, he only wanted to use the sport to escape the future his family had mapped out for him.
But once he stepped onto the court and won for the first time, seeing the tears on his opponent's face, he thought:
Igarashi Kazami: That felt so good.
And so, the volleyball court gained a red-haired, golden-eyed spiker with a gloomy face that looked like he hoped the world would end the next second, and who showed no mercy with his spikes.
Opponent: The scary thing about Igarashi Kazami is that after smashing the ball down for a point, he gives you a gloomy smile with a mouthful of shark teeth!
Igarashi Kazami: ? Do I? I was just smiling politely.

Igarashi Kazami grabbed Ushijima by the shoulder, flashing a friendly smile, his shark teeth gleaming white. "Hey, you. What are you saying to my setter?"
At first, Igarashi Kazami only wanted to keep winning.
But later, he realized he wanted to keep winning with his setter.
