Escaping the Cannon-Fodder Plot in a Harem-Lit Novel

Shen Xun had lived for over twenty years when he suddenly awakened and learned that he was living in a harem novel where everyone adored the protagonist, who was the recipient of all the male leads' affections. Shen Xun himself was an evil cannon-fodder seme who couldn't even get a ticket to join the line of admirers.

He was infatuated with his childhood friend, the universally adored shou. Unable to win his heart, Shen Xun grew malicious and plotted to drug and force himself on him.

Naturally, the proper male leads, both childhood friends and unexpected newcomers, gave him a harsh lesson. He suffered the karmic retribution of a ruined family and business, much to everyone's satisfaction.

To save himself, Shen Xun only wanted to stay away from the universally adored shou and all the proper male leads, as far away as possible. Ideally, he would never see them again.

Unfortunately, no matter how hard he tried to avoid them, he always ran into the group around a corner and got dragged into their battlefield of love.

Shen Xun wanted to cry: How could he escape the cannon-fodder seme plot?
