Global evolution has begun, and monsters roam everywhere. The fruits growing on trees and the fish swimming in the water might all evolve into new lifeforms.
The world has fractured into countless isolated islands, which humanity calls instances.
Cheng Xingmo wakes up to find himself pulled into the world of instances. He must face not only BOSSes born of the uncanny, and evolved spirits in the sea, but also ill-intentioned human evolvers.
And he is just an ordinary human who has never undergone any evolution, with little more than a pretty face to his name.
So he chooses to charm the BOSSes, pretend to be an NPC, and fool the players until he claims the fruits of victory (lol).
[Setting Sail for the Coast of Hope]
The Hope sets sail for the other side of the ocean. Just as the steam whistle fades, a gorgeous, exquisite NPC appears aboard. He may seem too frail to look after himself, but he always makes a dazzling entrance at every crucial moment.
Players: He's so beautiful, he must have an important clue! Protect him!
BOSS: Gurgle (makes a heart with its hands) (rummages around) (pulls out the cabin key) (hands it over)
Cheng Xingmo (patting the BOSS's head): Good boy~
[Beneath the Green Hills, Lay Me to Rest]
In an old, dilapidated middle school where bloody incidents happen again and again, the bell rings, and a melancholy NPC boy appears in an inconspicuous corner. He always seems to pass by by chance, yet somehow appears to have nothing to do with any of the events.
Players: I bet he's the mastermind! We have to redeem him to escape!
BOSS: Is my blade too dull, or is this guy really not afraid to die? How interesting.
Cheng Xingmo: That blade's too sharp. You might cut yourself, good boy. Let me handle this.
Much later, when Cheng Xingmo finally touches the source of the world, seven thrones light up in the sky. He walks toward the highest throne as countless souls cry out: Come home, my child!
Cheng Xingmo smiles and asks, "Is this a reward?"
The throne whispers, "No. It's the answer."

Reader's Guide:
1. The BOSS group will dote on the shou. Even if they don't like him at first, they'll come around!
2. The shou's support abilities are maxed out, the gong's combat power is maxed out, and the author's brain is maxed out too...
Also: Writing this blurb is so hard. I really want to go nuts, but I can't, so I'll just ramble here.
PPS: This is who-knows-which revision of the blurb. It probably won't change again, at least not for now (whispers). Since I'm rewriting the story, the original first instance has been cut, and the story will start directly with the second one. That means everything is brand new. Let me patch up the plot holes bit by bit before I resume updates.
Theme: The future is full of promise
Why aren't they watching out for Xu Yan? He's obviously a monster NPC.
Come on, come on? This is my favorite unlimited article, haha
