I Bought a Nobleman (Female-Dominated World)

There was a hunter in Taohua Village named Songlan. She made her living hunting and earned a decent income, but she was both stern and cold, and never minced words with young gentlemen. Even after turning twenty, no one had come to ask for her hand in marriage.

One day, she went to town to sell furs and unexpectedly ended up in a brothel. There she saw a pitiful young man on stage, his eyes brimming with tears. Perhaps her wits had been clouded, because she spent all her money buying the young courtesan named Huaishu. The madam told her that he'd been sent there after his family got into trouble and he offended someone. He was handsome and refined, and still a virgin. Songlan had gotten herself quite a bargain.

Later, many people in the village heard that the hunter Songlan had brought home an exceptionally pampered young husband. He was always asking for meat and would often pick fights with the hunter, sometimes shutting himself in and refusing to let her in. The hunter was driven to ask them what kinds of things men liked, so she could buy something to coax her husband. Seeing how thoughtful she was and how willing she was to spend money, plenty of villagers beat their chests in regret. They had once thought Songlan would be a wife-beater, but it turned out she not only never hit her husband, she indulged and doted on him.

When Songlan first brought him home, she sometimes regretted it. The young gentleman was temperamental, loved meat, and was so delicate that even a little force could leave him sore for days. But later, when his family was exonerated and people came from the capital to offer ten times the money to take him back, she realized she couldn't bear to let him go. She was afraid he'd suffer if he stayed with her, but couldn't bear to part with him either. Fortunately, the young gentleman couldn't bear to leave her, either. As soon as he heard the news, he hurried back and threw his arms around her, saying that he'd rather never eat meat again than let her abandon him.

This time it's a farming story. I'm not sure whether court politics will come into it later. Feel free to share your thoughts!
