The main story is complete.
Please support the official version. I’ll revise it once more and fix the bugs.
Song Qingwu stayed up all night reading a matriarchal romance novel. When she opened her eyes again, the world had changed QAQ. She had become Song Qingwu, the novel’s character with the same name, the wife who died young of the black-hearted male supporting character. She had a noble status, but died earlier than anyone else.
In the novel, the black-hearted male supporting character, Meng Yanchu, was a concubine-born son of the Meng family. His birth father was a lowly male entertainer. If Song Qingwu hadn’t been gravely ill and desperate for someone with a compatible birth date to bring her good fortune, he never would have landed such a good marriage. Everyone said he’d struck it lucky. And yet... on the very day Meng Yanchu married into the Song family, Song Qingwu died.
The lively wedding turned into a funeral. Meng Yanchu, the groom brought in to ward off bad luck, was treated as a harbinger of misfortune and shut away in the courtyard, where everyone bullied and blamed him. Naturally, he eventually turned evil.
He joined forces with the Fourth Imperial Princess of the time and drove the entire Song clan to ruin.
Countless people shed their blood in the streets, and not even the pouring rain could wash it away.
When Song Qingwu read the story, she thought Meng Yanchu was far too cruel. The Song family had bullied him, but the other clan members didn’t deserve to die. He had lost his mind in pursuit of revenge. Even if she met someone like him on the street, she’d go out of her way to avoid him.
And yet she didn’t just meet him. She transmigrated into the story and became the wife who died young, surrounded by the very people who had once bullied and hurt him!
Meng Yanchu’s life had been full of suffering. No one loved him. They abandoned and mistreated him, trapping him in the mire. They were the ones who made him crazy and cruel! At long last, he got his revenge, only to meet an unhappy end himself.
He had thought his broken life was finally over, but when he opened his eyes, he was back at the moment he’d first fallen into the mire, back when the Song family were all still alive...
The only difference was that the eldest daughter of the Song family, who should have died on her wedding night, had come back to life.
But so what? It just meant one more person who would bully him.
All he had to do was endure a little longer, until the Fourth Princess arrived. The Song family would fall into his hands once again. No one would escape, including the eldest Song daughter who had inexplicably come back to life.
Song Qingwu, who can be pestered and cajoled without ever budging, x Meng Yanchu, a clingy, cutesy crybaby.
Both are each other’s first and only. Don’t let the blurb fool you: this should essentially be a sweet little story. Those who’ve read my work know I’ll deliver on the sweetness! The word count is hard to say, but if you like it, please give it a like and add it to your favorites!
Here’s a preview of my upcoming story, The Emperor’s Favor (Matriarchal Society):
Jiang Hengyu’s life had been peaceful, without a ripple. She lived for her country and people, with her days split between the court and the harem. She wasn’t especially pessimistic, but she had never been happy either, until the young master Shen, said to be the most spoiled man in the capital, entered the palace. She teased him until he cried, and then she smiled.
The palace was cold and deep. From the Moon-Gathering Terrace, the view should have been one of endless solitude. But after Shen Xinian entered the palace, he decorated the terrace with bright red lanterns, took the reigning emperor by the hand, and insisted she join him beneath the lanterns to eat pastries and admire the moon. The palace servants whispered that the Imperial Noble Lord was truly spoiled by favor.
Shen Xinian had never wanted to enter the palace and share a wife with countless other men. But the imperial favor was overwhelming, and his family threatened him with their lives, forcing him to enter the palace.
That year, dressed in a bright red robe, he severed ties with the power-hungry Shen family and entered the palace alone. He thought he would be met with a lonely life and a temperamental ruler, but instead, the other woman was so gentle that she slowly drew him in.
Shen Xinian began to resent her status as emperor, resent that she held a selection every year, and resent most of all... that she made him choose the candidates.
One candidate was too ugly, and he worried she would embarrass the emperor, so he felt sorry for her. Another had no talent, and he worried she wouldn’t serve the emperor well, so he felt sorry for him. Shen Xinian picked the most beautiful and talented candidates to serve Jiang Hengyu, all while hiding in a corner to cry in grievance, until the supposedly cold and heartless ruler found him, drew him into her arms, and gently comforted him with a hand on his waist.
Gentle, steady female emperor x spoiled, jealous beauty of a male lead.
The female lead is not a virgin, the male lead is. After falling for him, the two will have eyes only for each other.
Theme: If your heart is set on doing good, you will be rewarded.
I like the coquettish male protagonist, but it would be more interesting if the main story and the first side story could torture the male protagonist?
I'm really poisonous. I can't accept Wan Zhou marrying Li Yun. It's so uncomfortable.
If the author is interested in abo, I support the author in writing an abo version of Qingwu (female A) and Yanchu (male O) extras
So cute... Can this one be longer?
I really want to read the story of Wan Zhou and Zhang Yu
I don't know why the pairing of the octopus and the male protagonist always feels so CP.
It would be great if we could see Xiao Meng chasing his wife, but it's a pity that this is the last episode
Woohoo, the little baby is so cute.
I really want to see the author write such a sticky setting again
