[F1 Racing] The Champion’s Name

Joey, CEO of an F1 team, was facing an early team breakup before the season had even started because he didn't have a number-one driver. So he secretly sent someone to poach a rival team's star.

Leclerc (smiling bitterly): "My heart belongs to Ferrari."

Verstappen: "Red Bull loves me too much."

Hamilton: "I'm retiring. Don't bother me."

The first time Joey met Flavio, he was in the depths of the desert, driving a tractor and farming, enjoying his idyllic life far from the world. He had no interest in returning to F1. All he cared about was whether his seeds would grow.

"The tractors you make are really hard to use."

"How could that be?" Joey said, unconvinced, and jumped in to help him with the farming.

He couldn't understand it. He had only come to negotiate a contract, so how had he ended up farming?

Less than a month later, explosive news swept through the paddock: the man named Flavio was returning to F1.

Even so, no one in the paddock had faith in this newly reassembled team. They might have money to burn, but every factory team did.

When Flavio won his first Drivers' Championship: "Just lucky."

When Flavio won his second and third championships: "Interesting, but it definitely won't last."

...Horner and Toto Wolff reported Joey's team in the middle of the night, insisting they must be using some kind of illegal technology! They had to be! Otherwise, how could they be so fast?

Joey declared that his team was completely clean and invited them to investigate!

But the paparazzi claimed the team principal and his number-one driver weren't exactly on the level~

P.S. The plot and romance are about evenly split. There shouldn't be any difficult terminology, so even readers who don't follow F1 should be able to understand.

It's set in a partly fictionalized future, with lots of changes to reality. The main characters are all handsome, and even if they're tall, that won't stop them from driving in F1. Budget caps and engine freezes don't exist here, and the FIA rules will be followed when the plot calls for it! There should be some melodrama. I think the things that happen in the paddock are already dramatic enough~
