They possess every human trait, yet lack humanity.”

In the future, technology has advanced at an incredible pace, and humanity has split into two factions: the Futurists, who believe AI should rule the Earth, and the Conservatives, who insist that humans come first.

The Futurist research center has just completed a new batch of AI robots.

The center named the robot with the highest overall stats and the highest danger rating 001, and assigned it to Jiang Qi'an, its youngest team captain.

Jiang Qi'an, 25, is a human modeled on AI.

001 is much like any other AI, except that everyone thinks it is dangerous.

Only Jiang Qi'an can keep him under control.

Jiang Qi'an is aloof and distant by nature, and 001 is his only friend.

After a battle, 001 is captured by the enemy and left on the brink of death.

Jiang Qi'an risks his life to break into enemy territory and rescue it, only to be left barely alive himself.

But Jiang Qi'an never imagined that the one he rescued wasn't an AI, let alone 001.

It was Ling Yi, the second-in-command of the human faction, sworn enemy of the AI faction and infamous for his brutality and coldness.

Only when the base is attacked by the human faction and every AI is wiped out does Ling Yi lay a hand on Jiang Qi'an's cheek. Jiang Qi'an's eyes are blood red, and his life hangs by a thread. Ling Yi whispers, “Gege, the AI by your side has always been me.”

Ling Yi, 20, is the youngest team captain in the anti-AI faction.

On his eighteenth birthday, he was given a mission: implant his consciousness into the program of 001, the AI faction's newly developed robot, and send it to Jiang Qi'an.

His mission was to alter 001's program to destroy humanity, break into the Futurist base from within,

and kill Jiang Qi'an.

But on the day he was supposed to act,

he realized he couldn't bring himself to do it.

He left Jiang Qi'an, gravely wounded, behind at the Futurist base.

But when he reported that the mission was complete, he was told:

“Jiang Qi'an is our mole.”

After Jiang Qi'an is brought back to recover, Ling Yi embarks on a long campaign to win him back.

The team captain, famed for his coldness and brutality, comes up with new ways every day to send flowers to Captain Jiang.

Jiang Qi'an tosses them without even looking.

After being discharged, Ling Yi corners Jiang Qi'an outside his hospital room and presses his whole body against him.

The youngest man, who has never called anyone “gege,” has red-rimmed eyes and practically kneels before Jiang Qi'an as he begs, “Gege, please pay some attention to me.”

Then he takes it even further:

“Gege, give me a kiss…”

“Gege, give me a hug…”

“Gege, sleep with m…”

Jiang Qi'an: “Get lost!!”

*Some things to be aware of:

1. This is a story about an aloof beauty coming down from his pedestal, only to discover there's a dog (crossed out) wolf waiting below.

2. The love interest's consciousness is in control from beginning to end. One-on-one romance, both leads are each other's only partners, happy ending.

3. The early angst for the receiving partner is due to their opposing sides. He actually loves him so much!!
