[Ultraman] I'm Just a Power Bank

After risking his life to throw Grizza into the sun, X was surprised to find he had another chance to wake up.

A nonhuman, or perhaps a monster, calling himself Lu Li, joined with him as one.

X: "...Shouldn't this method work the other way around?"

Lu Li had slept for a thousand years. When he woke, he found food delivery at his door. To repay the favor of a meal, he casually rescued an unlucky fellow who was gravely injured. He'd planned to leave once the man had recovered.

But the guy was so kindhearted that he kept rescuing people and getting himself covered in wounds. He really was impossible to look after.

To regain his freedom as soon as possible (sure), Lu Li started giving him power-ups. When X ran low on energy, he supplied plenty of it, and even offered to take over in a fight.

At first, X would shyly thank him. After it happened a few more times...

When facing a powerful villain and losing:

X: "A Li, charge me up."

Still losing:

X: "A Li, take the wheel."

Note: This X is from a parallel universe, not the one partnered with Daichi.

Theme: Respect fate.
