The Great Wilderness: Chasing the Sun

Unwilling to accept his failed attempt at proving the Dao, Shichen joined forces with Taiyi and used immense magical power to return to the time before Chaos was formed. Though they succeeded, Shichen lost his memories in the process, retaining only a few fragmented pieces. Mistaking those fragments for glimpses of the future, he saw that the path ahead held a fated love who could walk beside him. Shichen, who had inherited the arrogance of the Chaos Demon Gods, was skeptical, yet also felt a flicker of interest. At their first meeting: My judgment is as impeccable as ever! But I don't like him. I just think he has great potential. When they met again at Mount Buzhou: How strange. There's a peculiar feeling in my heart. Whatever, I'll bring him back with me first! When they met at Zixiao Palace: My fated love has had such a hard life. I'll rewrite his fate. Heaven's Will, if you keep setting up my beloved, don't blame me for digging a pit for you first. My beloved is building the Heavenly Court, so of course I have to show my support! My beloved is short on primordial purple qi? Here, have a whole bunch. No need to fight over it. Tell me how many strands you need. Later, Taiyi: "Didn't you say you didn't like me and only cared about my potential?" Shichen (shaking his head frantically): "I didn't! I haven't! Don't make things up! Denial triptych.jpg" [Please note: This is a completely wholesome story, with no fixed top or bottom. The protagonist is labeled as the bottom only because his personality is rather coquettish (probably).] (The original title was: Primordial: The Ancestor Doesn't Want to Work Hard Anymore) [The above is the second playthrough after loading a save. Below is the blurb for the first playthrough, still in the document.] Because he wielded laws of such immense power, the Great Dao erased his form as soon as he was born. Unwilling to be destroyed in both body and spirit, Shichen fought with all his might to escape as a wisp of remnant soul. He hid inside the God-Splitting Axe, which became the Three Treasures after the creation of the world. The remnant soul was caught in the aftermath and lost all its memories, becoming the spirit of the Chaos Bell. He would accompany the Eastern Emperor Taiyi until his emergence, millions of years later! Watch as the Chaos Bell and Taiyi join forces to sweep across the Primordial World!
