Wilderness Survival with the Dragon King

After graduating from college, Chen Anning couldn't find a suitable job, so she returned to her hometown to livestream a rustic life. She'd leased the whole mountain, and decided to livestream herself building a house there with her bare hands. She had to admit, she'd bitten off more than she could chew. Working alone, it took her over half a year to finally get the roof on. Then a handsome man in flowing white ancient-style clothes appeared before her.

Chen Anning asked without thinking, "Whoa, you're doing this kind of thing all the way up here in the mountains? Has the ancient-style cosplay scene gotten this competitive? Are you filming a 'Sword Venerable Descends the Mountain' series or something? And you've even got a sword hanging at your waist."

The handsome guy cosplaying an immortal smiled faintly and asked, "Are you renting this house out?"

Chen Anning nearly drew her knife on the spot. This guy had come here to steal the fruits of her labor!

She gave him a false smile. "Work for your rent. Eight hours of work a day, and you can stay for free."

The handsome guy agreed to rent the place, changed into a military uniform, and started swinging a hoe and carrying bricks. He still looked like an immortal.

Later, her fans urged Chen Anning to hurry up and marry him. It wasn't every day you met a guy that handsome, with such poor eyesight, who was willing to dote on her. She shouldn't let him get away.

Chen Anning: ...

Later still, Chen Anning discovered that this guy might not be human at all. He was a dragon.

This is the story of a demon king who arrives with his luggage to find the girl who was his childhood sweetheart. But his sweetheart has grown up and seems a little dim. What can he do but roll up his sleeves and help her carry bricks and build her house?

She grins, and he watches from the side.

A mountain romance spanning species and time.

Just an idea I'm still working on.
