The Wasteland Middleman

A third of a brain isn't enough to piece together a whole life, but it can open the door to another world.

When Xu Zhi woke up, she was a defective tool-person who couldn't even remember her factory serial number.

Her owner was dead, leaving her with a massive debt of 150,000 gold coins and the legal status of a refugee.

While others struggled to survive in the wasteland, all she wanted was to quietly earn money and pay off her debt. She picked mutated herbs no one else could recognize and brewed anti-radiation medicine twice as effective as usual. She made nutritious meals no one could replicate and monopolized the food trade in the entire refugee camp...

Before long, she became the wasteland's most mysterious middlewoman, and everyone clamored for her goods.

When Xu Zhi paid off her last gold coin, she spread her hands and smiled at all the Federation's bigwigs.

"All right, Your Excellencies, now let's settle another debt."
