Journeying Down the River in Douluo

1. This is an HG story with lots of wives, and the protagonist is an absolute top! No switching roles!

2. The world is expanded with original additions, including a power called baleful energy that is stronger than soul power.

3. No forming a Shrek Eight Monsters group, and no character bashing. Dai and Ma will get a little "special treatment," though.

4. The story follows a little of the original plot at first, then branches off in the middle and later parts, with the main storyline being "doing whatever it takes to survive" and the side storyline being "finding wives."

5. There are plenty of battle scenes throughout, but there's plenty of romance, too!

[About the protagonist]

She had a rough start in her previous life: an orphan, later adopted by an old man surnamed Chu. The grandfather and granddaughter depended on each other, struggling to make a living by selling scrap.

At first, she's a cheerful, funny, cute, gentle, and well-behaved girl who loves money just a little. Later, she's all of that still, but gradually turns dark and develops about eight hundred extra layers of scheming.

Chu Chengjiang thinks she's just a little unlucky. All she did was go out to buy a watermelon to celebrate turning eighteen, and on her way back, some unknown creature killed her!

But when she opened her eyes after dying, she didn't see the King of Hell. Thank goodness, there was another kind-faced old man.

Given a second life, she thought she might become a rich second-generation kid.

But no, her home was still completely bare, and she ate carrots almost every meal.

To top it off, she discovered she had transmigrated into the world of a novel she'd once picked up while collecting scrap.

Now she was in the Douluo world, unarmed and with no idea what she could do. It wasn't as if she could go back to collecting scrap.

And why did she have to have such a rough start from the start? Was that fair?

But her peaceful life was shattered one morning when a crow claiming to be the Three-Legged Golden Crow showed up and tried to scam her. It spouted lies, saying it was there to reinforce her seal or something. Despite her desperate resistance, it knocked her out.

Black mist spread everywhere.

A special gear hidden beneath the surface of fate began to turn. Death and endless killing intent surged in from every direction. She tried to break through the fog and see clearly, but danger had already closed its fingers around her throat.

The two sides faced each other in silence.

Would she risk her life and press onward, or surrender to stay alive?

The truth lay in darkness, while the light was hidden behind the clouds.

What choice would she make in the end?
