Lex Luthor has made another Doomsday.
A more dangerous, terrifying Doomsday that can be carried around.
Batman and Superman break into Luthor Tower.
There's no monster in the lab, just a little girl with curly hair.
And Luthor stands nearby, looking grim as he holds a bowl of nutritious baby food.
"Luthor, did you have another child with Superman?!"
"No! I created a new Doomsday!"
"Where's Doomsday?"
"In your arms."
2.
When Nina wakes up, the game is giving her a recap of the story so far.
System:
[You are peerlessly beautiful, can revive infinitely, are impervious to blades and bullets, and can breathe fire and spit ice]
[You can also evolve your superpowers by getting hurt]
[One of your fathers is a superhero. He's powerful, kind, and admired by everyone]
[Your other father is a wealthy supervillain. He's richer than anyone and unbelievably smart]
Nina: Awesome! The perfect start!
[You are a humanoid weapon created by your father]
[Your purpose in life is to destroy your other father]
[Your codename is "Doomsday"]
Nina: Wait, who am I? Am I the Doomsday I'm thinking of?
[Yes. Good luck]
[Now issuing the first mission]
[Within 10 seconds, psychologically devastate both your fathers with a single sentence. The shorter, the better]
As Superman and Luthor argue, Nina's gaze passes over her two fathers and lands right on the outsider in the room: the black-caped hero with cat ears.
"Daddy?"
Superman: !!!
Luthor: !!!
[CP mini-scene]
"Every child is their father's Doomsday."
Batman comforts his friend like a man who's been through it. "I have four."
"B, I really appreciate you sharing your parenting experience... but that doesn't mean I'll let your son kiss my daughter!"
Reading notes:
1. The female lead is half-Kryptonian and has all of Doomsday's abilities, including evolving by getting hurt, but her other half's genes aren't Luthor's.
2. The toddler stage won't last long. There'll be a time skip, and the romance only begins once she's an adult.
3. Pairing: Jason. This story isn't very kind to the Joker, so Joker fans beware.
Theme: Raising children is important.
