I Pick Up Trash in Yokohama

Avery is a person from the real world. He's not especially capable, and he has no particular ambitions. When he first entered Bungo Stray Dogs, his first reaction was fear, because he had read it and knew this world all too well.

So when he arrived here five years ago, he lived cautiously. He even tried to leave Yokohama, but he had no money at all, so he could only stay here for the time being.

But with nothing on him to prove his identity, he couldn't find work. When he finally did find a job, his boss learned about his circumstances and paid him the lowest possible wage. Avery had no choice but to accept, since he couldn't find another job for now.

But his wages were so low that every now and then he had to go to strange places to pick things up. As he put it, he was dumpster diving [?]

This may not be very well written. I welcome constructive advice, but not abuse. The protagonist's ability isn't an ability in the usual sense; it's something that has been passed down in his family. Now he's the only one left in his family. He was taught from childhood not to use it carelessly. His ability is powerful, but he thinks he's weak. This is an indulgent power fantasy, so if that's not for you, please stop reading. There are some logical issues. Advice is welcome, thank you (??∧??)
