Working for Spiritual Energy Among the Stars is an absurd tale about a sword spirit and its master, searching for spiritual energy and earning a living while also taking on the Mechanical Kingdom.
The story has reached its third arc. Feel free to visit my author page and check it out!
Synopsis:
A conflicted bottom who believes that only force can keep him safe x a powerful top who has patience only for clients and his sweetheart
1.
Rong Jing had been by Cang Lin's side since he was eighteen. In four years, he went from an innocent student to a participant in the underworld.
Four years later, Cang Lin fled the Ousens family with Rong Jing. They abandoned their past glory and set out again from the primitive Myerka tribe.
Rong Jing thought they would stay together until death. He could never return to the world of light, so finding someone to rely on seemed like a good thing. Fortunately, they were still in love.
But why were they growing further and further apart? Was he still not worthy of standing beside Cang Lin, or had Cang Lin simply grown tired?
2.
Everyone said Rong Jing was a menace, a demon. If it weren't for him, why would the Ousens family's second-in-command abandon his noble status, take him to a foreign land, and work himself to the bone to support their household?
Rong Jing was curious, too. He asked Cang Lin, "Are you happy being the leader of this mercenary group? Even if it only has six members?"
Cang Lin gazed up at the vast sky, his eyes distant. "Things have come to this. We have only one path left: to become the number-one mercenary group on Blue Star."
3.
Every member of the Nirvana Mercenary Group was a traitor. They refused to be rats in the gutter. They would earn their bread on their feet. But was their boss getting a little too indiscriminate about the jobs they took? Escorting a nobleman's young son on an outing, serving as a young master's best man...
Rong Jing immediately wrapped his arms around his husband. "That's a hundred million star coins. Take it, take it, take it."
Cang Lin could only say helplessly, "What can we do? They're paying too much."
Then Cang Lin turned around and transferred money into Rong Jing's account like crazy: Playing a nobleman is expensive for Xiao Jing.
4.
For the sake of Nirvana's growth, Cang Lin had Rong Jing leave the group and pose as a nobleman to give himself a clean identity. At first, they agreed that Rong Jing would be Nirvana's undercover agent. Gradually, they were in touch less and less.
You were the one who said we should let go. So I let go. Now you think you can win me back with true love? Too late. Bye-bye.
Theme: Rise again. My fate is mine to control, not Heaven's.
"This planet is ruined" It's an unscientific story about a pair of sword spirits and their master fighting against the mechanical kingdom while searching for spiritual power and making money to make a living. I have written the third story, welcome to read!
