Turns Out I’m the White Moonlight

Qiu Xunzhen has had a first love for many years.

To catch up with her first love, she studies hard and works hard, grinding herself into the ground until she finally gets the chance to stand before the person she admires.

But then she discovers that her first love has a first love of her own.

This upgraded first love supposedly only has a high school education. Her hobbies are smoking, drinking, and partying. Apart from being beautiful, she's good for nothing.

Unable to understand how she lost to this woman, Qiu Xunzhen finally gives in to her curiosity. Based on what her first love let slip, she waits outside the bar the other woman often visits.

That day, rain pours down. One of the heels she spent a month's wages on breaks, leaving her looking like a miserable stray dog caught in a downpour.

With a sprained ankle and no way to get a car, Qiu Xunzhen can only cry as she scrolls through her contacts. She realizes that after spending all these years chasing her first love, she hasn't made even half a friend willing to pick her up in the rain.

Then a black umbrella shields her from the raindrops. Qiu Xunzhen looks up and finds the cool, beautiful face of her first love's first love beneath it.

"Where do you live? I'll take you home."

To avoid looking quite so pathetic, Qiu Xunzhen blurts out that she's her first love's girlfriend.

"Oh," says the other woman. "Want me to take you home, then?"

"...Yes."

And so, by a twist of fate, Qiu Xunzhen, who never got to sleep with her first love, ends up sleeping with her first love's first love.
