Fangs

On a stormy night, Qu Xunxun finds a filthy boy in a narrow alley.

The boy is covered in wounds, but his green eyes shine with startling brightness. He stares at Qu Xunxun without moving, like a young dog cornered with nowhere left to run.

On a whim, Qu Xunxun takes the boy home.

She gives him hot water and food and treats his wounds, only to discover that he doesn't want to leave.

The boy buries half his face in a soft blanket and gently calls her "Big Sister." His eyes are docile yet sad, and before she knows it, Qu Xunxun agrees to take in this stray dog from the streets.

After all... a dog without fangs can't hurt anyone.

Besides, once he grows up, he'll leave on his own.

A long-planned fire turns Xie Zhi from the young master of a wealthy family into a homeless stray. Covered in wounds, he collapses in a narrow alley on a rainy night.

Xie Zhi gazes at the gloomy sky, thinking his ridiculous life is about to end in a hurry. Then, through his fading awareness, he sees someone approaching.

The girl's hand reaching out to him lets him glimpse a ray of light in the darkness.

From then on, he carefully hides his fangs and pretends to be an innocent, obedient dog, just the way the girl likes. But where she can't see, he painstakingly weaves a vast net, leaving her nowhere to escape.

Qu Xunxun: This is Xie Zhi, my little brother. He's very well-behaved.

Xie Zhi: Mm.

Friend: ...Xunxun, wake up! That little wolf Xie Zhi already has his teeth against your neck!

Don't throw away the poor little thing you picked up on a whim. Raise him well, and he'll grow up to be a CEO. The kids next door are all jealous.
