Humanity's Legacy Has Sprouted [Interstellar]

Blurb:

Little Sprout Version:

Sprout is a little girl raised by a battered old robot.

On the whole planet, the only creatures who look even a little like her are Noah, the robot, and the long-tailed monkeys next to the forest, who are always howling as they bring her wild fruit to eat.

Every day, Sprout goes outside with the robot to pick up “junk.”

Then one day, she finds a chubby little bee with a glowing butt.

The problem is, this little bee doesn't collect honey. It just keeps circling around her.

Meanwhile, when a livestream exploring a lonely planet suddenly shows a pureblood human child with black hair and black eyes, the interstellar public freezes in disbelief, then goes completely wild.

Planet Version:

I am a star. I once gave life to a species called “humans.”

I watched them evolve from beasts into a civilization, and then watched that civilization come to an end.

They called me “Mother.” After the last lighthouse went dark, they set off into the boundless universe.

When humanity left, they bequeathed me a legacy, which they called “seeds.”

After an unknown number of orbits around the sun, this legacy called seeds finally sprouted.

It was a human, a human child who had just opened her eyes.

I began to wonder: How can a star raise a human child well?

I have brought forth all things, but this is my first time being a mother.

Sprout: I am the legacy humanity left to this star.

Sprout: My mother is a lonely planet.

Theme: Protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility.
