My Entire Family Is the Foil Family in a Period Novel

On the first night Shen Yixian moved into the city, she had a dream. In it, the world they lived in was the world of a book, and her second cousin from her second uncle's family was the female protagonist.

Her second cousin had been reborn. She'd had a hard life in her previous life, and was especially envious of her younger cousin from her third uncle's family, as well as the younger cousin's family.

After being reborn, she'd bound herself to a Good Luck System. With its help, she stole her younger cousin's family's fortune, turning them into a foil for her own family. In the end, not one of the younger cousin's family met a good end.

Meanwhile, her own family followed a path to greatness unlike anything they'd experienced in their previous life.

Thinking of the dream, Shen Yixian remembered that her parents, who worked for the Public Security Bureau, had been killed in revenge by the villains; her older brother had gone astray and ultimately been executed; and she herself had become a mistress out of vanity. Even the family of the neighbor boy who had always treated her well met a bad end.

The younger cousin, Shen Yixian: "..."

To hell with being a foil. If she let her second cousin get even the slightest advantage, she'd lose.

Warnings:

1. The heroine is a native of this world with a golden finger. One-on-one romance, devoted and chaste. They're all kids at first, so no puppy love.

2. A parallel, fictional world. Very fictional. All logic serves the plot, so readers who care about historical accuracy should steer clear.

Theme: Your life should be written by you.
