(This is an old idea I had. It took me a long time to write this much. For now, I probably, possibly, maybe won't update.)
Qing Ran transmigrates to the Qing Dynasty after a car accident and becomes an invisible maid in Fourth Master's manor. She waits for over a year, but the legendary golden finger never comes.
Instead, she discovers that there seems to be another fellow countryman in the manor. Not long afterward, the fellow countryman is gone, and Qing Ran finally gets the System she's been waiting for. But--
Though a System appears before Qing Ran, she can't feel happy in the slightest, because this is what her System looks like:
"Think you want to be a...?
Think you want to...?
Think you want to...?
Missing... 'little...'"
What's going on? Not only are some characters missing strokes, but the most important parts are all just blank squares? Did this System start working before it was even a month old?
Qing Ran...
She simply couldn't swallow this insult. It even felt like the air itself was full of the word "discrimination." And the more she looked at her broken System, the more she disliked it.
Later on,
The System's introduction became:
"Want to lie flat like a lazy fish?
Want a life full of food, drink, fun, and comfort?
Want to become a farming expert who gets a front-row seat to the drama while cuddling cats and dogs?
Welcome to the 'Gossip and Farming System.'"
Fourth Master: She's the most honest and dutiful one of all, isn't she, Fuzhin?
He was wrong. He thought she was dull and awkward, a piece of rotten wood that couldn't be carved!
Next, she knows how to show off in front of me. Maybe she isn't quite as stupid and hopeless as she seems!
Then, she's rude and has no manners, and now she even dares to run away. I see your courage hasn't been scared out of you. It's grown instead!
And then, she's a disobedient, reckless little thing, and she dares to lose her temper at me?! Why are you crying? You're such a nuisance!
Finally, she's just a frail and timid little butterfly. I'll let her off this time.
