When the Fireworks Blaze

At a young age, Yang Yuchen has made his company a roaring success and earned a stellar reputation in the industry.

Lin Wan, a talented second-year graduate student at an art academy, spends every day either in the studio or working part-time.

She’s hopelessly directionless, and on her very first day at her part-time job, she literally runs into her boss’s arms.

Even more surprising, the man in front of her says he’s lost, too!

-

At Lin Wan’s roommate’s wedding,

everyone assumes that the usually aloof Yang Yuchen won’t answer such a personal question from the host.

To their surprise, he takes the microphone as a groomsman, gazes intently at someone in the distance, and says, “There is someone I like, but I haven’t confessed yet!”

-

Yang Yuchen is outstanding in every way, yet he’s never dated anyone.

Everyone figures he must be gay.

Lin Wan often feels that Yang Yuchen looks at her strangely. Could he really think she’s his love rival?!

She knows she could never measure up to someone as exceptional as Yang Yuchen, and constantly reminds herself not to entertain any inappropriate thoughts.

During her summer internship at his company, Lin Wan discovers during their lunch break that Yang Yuchen is even worse at finding his way around a game than she is! No matter how she teaches him, he just can’t get it.

Every student Lin Wan tutors makes rapid progress. This is the first time she’s ever hit a wall in her tutoring career!

Unexpectedly, Yang Yuchen’s lips curl into a faint smile as he watches her with an unreadable gaze and says:

“I can’t concentrate with you standing right beside me.”

“Thank you for always staying by my side.”

“You appeared in my life like fireworks during its darkest hour. In my world, you will always shine brilliantly.”

Reader’s guide:

- Because of her difficult family background, the heroine is slow to open up and lacks confidence early on.

- The hero is two years older than the heroine. Both are virgins. He has a secret crush on her, and she’s had one brief relationship.

- This is my first novel, so it has plenty of flaws.
