Why Hasn't Master Kicked Me Out of the Sect Yet?

After transmigrating to the cultivation world, chuunibyou girl Han Shiyi declared, "I really am the chosen one!"

From the start, she was bound to a "Villainous Demon Lord Development System." All she had to do was get expelled by her righteous master, turn to the dark side, and she would become invincible and reach the pinnacle of life.

Han Shiyi thought it was a perfect start.

To get expelled, Han Shiyi tried every scheme she could think of, but the harder she tried, the more prosperous her sect became. Even the senior brothers and sisters who had left the sect one by one returned.

Han Shiyi: Are you messing with me?

Unable to escape the sect, Han Shiyi decided to become a double agent. She was a villainous mole hiding in the sect, sabotaging everything in the hope of bringing her own sect down as soon as possible.

But the harder she tried, the more heartbreaking it got. Her sect became the number-one righteous sect, and the "double agent" herself became the light of the righteous path.

Someone once asked Han Shiyi how she'd held firm to her convictions, led her sect to the top, and raised the righteous path's overall strength by several levels.

Han Shiyi: "At first, I just wanted to get expelled..."

Righteous disciples praised her: "Senior Sister Shiyi truly is the light of the righteous path! She never relies on the sect. Instead, she carries the whole sect to greatness. She is a true model for all of us righteous cultivators."

Theme: Be more sincere with one another, and rely less on schemes.
