Master of Disguise

Ye Xuwu accidentally discovers a shocking secret. To escape being hunted by several factions, he has no choice but to fake his death and start a new life.

After encountering a disastrous System, Ye Xuwu begins a life of constantly changing secret identities:

The noble and aloof Imperial Preceptor of Chu is accused of treason and deceiving the emperor, then betrayed by the very disciple he raised. The man who once stood above everyone else is now a prisoner, with his execution imminent.

System: "Xuxu, you're about to be executed. How do you feel?"

Ye Xuwu: "Imperial Preceptor Gu Lingyin is about to be executed. What does that have to do with me, Ye Xuwu?"

Of course, he chooses to change secret identities!

System: Congratulations, Xuxu, on completing the first task in the chain: Your Disciple's Betrayal.

Each task in the chain marks the beginning of a new secret identity.

While racking up a collection of bizarre achievements, Ye Xuwu also acquires a host of skills: disguise, voice imitation, bone-shrinking, and using a body double...
