Yu Xiu is a nationally recognized wildlife keeper. Gentle and patient by nature, he pets tigers when there's work to do and strokes leopards when there isn't. But he's been afraid of snakes since childhood. Whenever he has to interact with the little black snake at the zoo, he asks a coworker to help and stays far, far away.
The little black snake is beautiful, with exquisite scales and emerald-green eyes, but Yu Xiu just can't overcome his fear. He simply doesn't dare go near it.
Until one day, something strange happens at the zoo.
The tail of the critically endangered white tiger suddenly loses a huge patch of fur. Thinking there might have been an attack during the night, Yu Xiu hurries to check the security footage.
Instead, he discovers the little black snake sneaking up while the white tiger sleeps, plucking its fur a tuft at a time and piling it onto its own tail.
Outside the door, the little black snake's tail is covered in tiger fur. It looks up at Yu Xiu, begging to be petted.
Yu Xiu: I don't dare, QAQ
Then the snow leopard loses the fur on its rear, and the male lion's mane gets shorter...
One after another, the stolen tufts appear on the little black snake's head and neck. Wearing its “coat” of fur that doesn't belong to it, it blinks at Yu Xiu, longing for a head pat.
Yu Xiu, blocked from escaping yet again: Mom, this is so scary! Help, TAT
Run for it!

Han Zhuo is a little black snake. Every day, he watches Yu Xiu play with the other animals, but Yu Xiu never pays him any attention.
One day, after yet another failed attempt to get petted, Han Zhuo is rejected once more. He climbs a tree, intending to hang himself.
But his body is too soft, so he can't hang himself. He curls up in a dejected little ball and thinks, He pets everyone but me. I'm so mad.
Then he transforms into human form and goes to find Yu Xiu, seething with anger. Pointing at his own head, he orders loudly, “Pet me, now!”
The boy standing before him looks only four or five years old. So cute! Yu Xiu's heart melts, and he reaches out to pet him. Han Zhuo is very pleased. Only when he looks in the mirror does he realize his true form hasn't reached adulthood yet, so he's still very small.
But he plans to “keep his identity secret,” “take things as they come,” and seriously raise himself a wife.
By day, he's a four- or five-year-old child. By night, he's an eighteen-year-old adult. Life is wonderful.
Later, when Yu Xiu finds out who Han Zhuo is, he's so terrified that he trembles and packs his things to flee in the middle of the night.
But in the end, he's caught and spends three days sprawled in bed. Now Han Zhuo has wrapped his snake tail around Yu Xiu's waist, and he can't get away.
Han Zhuo thinks Yu Xiu is so adorable. His eyes are red, and he's even more captivating than a fluffy little animal. Han Zhuo tenderly kisses the tear-stained cheek of his beloved. “Wifey, pet me.”
Yu Xiu trembles and sobs in broken gasps. “I don't want to pet you anymore... Get your tail out... Don't put it in my pants...”
Han Zhuo chuckles softly, leaving countless marks on Yu Xiu's body. Satisfied, he says, “Mine.”
“And if you run again, I'll fuck you to death.”
