Explorer Bai Cang was caught in a wormhole collapse while making a space-time jump.
He accidentally ended up on Earth thousands of years in the past.
At the time, the Central Plains were in complete chaos.
Unable to get home, Bai Cang built a temporary aerial base to live in.
But the base kept growing bigger and bigger,
until it became a city in the sky.
As the city in the sky's owner, Bai Cang received all sorts of invitations to join forces:
Qin Shi Huang: I'll send you 50. Get me some immortality pills to try.
Emperor Wu of Han: Same here. And get life insurance for Wei Qing and Huo Qubing while you're at it.
Cao Cao: Send me some talented people. I'll pay you with a tomb robbery.
Emperor Taizong of Tang: If we're brothers, come help me fight the Turks.
Emperor Zhenzong of Song: Help! Help, help, kissy-kissy, kissy-kissy, kissy-kissy…!
[Reading Guide]
1. The timeline starts in the Qin Dynasty and continues through dynasties including the Han and Tang. This is not quick transmigration.
2. The protagonist has already ascended through machinery. He is immortal and has technology all over his body. This is basically a companion piece to Spectacle.
3. The city in the sky sometimes drifts abroad, bringing some delightfully amusing foreign reactions. I'm a simple person; I like that kind of thing.
4. All the technical terms in this story are fake science fiction, made up for fun. Just enjoy the ride.
5. I love revising, and the historical research is Schrodinger's research. Don't treat this as serious history.
Theme: Witness history.
