I Won't Be This Master's Disciple Anymore

Song Yunjin is transported into a female-led cultivation novel as a useless master.

In the original story, the master's treatment of the heroine is inhuman. The heroine grows stronger rapidly as she is tormented, but the story ends with her dismembering her master so thoroughly that not even all the bones can be put back together.

Looking at the frail heroine and the resentment in her eyes, Song Yunjin thinks for one second before deciding on the spot: she's done being this master!

Song Yunjin packs her bags that very night and runs away. She retreats to the mountains to enjoy a peaceful retirement and stay far from the main plot.

Living alone for too long gets a little lonely, so Song Yunjin occasionally picks up some unfortunate youngsters from down the mountain. Before long, she has taken in three disciples.

The disciples are all obedient, but Song Yunjin notices that the way they look at her is gradually becoming strange.

Song Yunjin remains calm and impassive. No big deal.

Later, Song Yunjin discovers that Disciple A is a brutal, bloodthirsty demon cultivator villain; Disciple B is a fanatical, obsessive sword cultivator villain; and Disciple C is a twisted, sinister spell cultivator villain.

Surrounded by villains, Song Yunjin: ...wor

She packs her bags and runs away again that very night.

One day, Song Yunjin is hiding out in some nameless little town, drinking tea, when she hears that three lunatics have searched the entire cultivation world for the same person.

They guess this person must be a bewitching beauty, a femme fatale.

Song Yunjin silently sips her tea. Hmm... it definitely can't be me.

As Song Yunjin tries to sneak out of the teahouse, someone suddenly embraces her from behind. The person lowers their head and chuckles in her ear. "Master, you really made your disciple search high and low for you."

Song Yunjin: ?!

That voice! Isn't it the heroine she abandoned as soon as she got here?

She's dead :)
