My Archrival Holds the Script to a Love Story

Shen Jingbai had peerless talent in the sword arts. After ten years of hard work, she rose from a complete nobody to become the leader of the second-greatest immortal sect in the cultivation world, revered by countless people.

Yet during a battle between immortals and demons, she was brutally killed by a traitor.

When she opened her eyes again, she discovered she had returned to ten years earlier.

And the traitor who had killed her was right in front of her, swaggering about.

Without a word, Shen Jingbai beat the person up.

When her opponent cursed and threatened to settle the score with her someday, she cheerfully gave the name of her old nemesis.

Shen Jingbai: "Listen up. Your grandma here has never changed her name: I'm Zhong Sinan of the Zhong family. If you've got the guts, come to my door and beat me up!"

Zhong Sinan, passing behind her: "..."

Living a second life, Shen Jingbai discovered that this world didn't seem quite the way she remembered it.

The respected master who had taken her in had done so to carve out her spiritual body.

The frail junior sister she had cherished and protected actually hated her to the bone.

When the entire immortal sect she had risked her life to protect learned she had been captured by the demon clan, they treated her as a pawn to be discarded. Not one of them dared come to her aid.

And as she closed her eyes in despair, the one who pulled her out of the abyss was none other than the nemesis who had always despised her.

Amid the ebb and flow of agony, Shen Jingbai opened her eyes and saw that the usually calm and self-possessed woman had her white robes stained with Shen Jingbai's blood, her eyes red-rimmed.

The hands holding her trembled, yet still offered comfort: "Don't be afraid."

It truly felt like a dream.
