Pairing: Serious, dignified IT whiz x gentle, beautiful homemaker dad
[A love story in the real world, with all the daily ups and downs of family life, and yet I love you]
Blurb:
Ye Bai goes on a blind date with an exceptionally accomplished internet industry executive named Hang Yuan. He earns a high salary, is handsome, and is busy with work. His biggest requirement in a partner is that they take good care of his adopted son.
After they marry, Hang Yuan gives Ye Bai his salary card to use as he pleases. They have a housekeeper for the chores, and the child goes to kindergarten, so all Ye Bai has to do is cook.
Ye Bai is a little worried O_o: His husband is generous with money but never home, and the kid is smart and lively without causing trouble. Can a job really be this perfect?
*
The little one's dad is busy with work and leaves him at daycare every day. He even orders takeout for the kid's meals. Ye Bai feels so bad for him that he makes lots of cookies and fried chicken to feed him.
The little one has no one to keep him company, so Ye Bai brings him along on dates with his blind date. They go to the amusement park and have a happy picnic together.
When it's time for the little one to start kindergarten, Ye Bai runs around helping with the paperwork and encourages him to take the entrance interview. In the end, he gets in.
Somewhere along the way, the little one, who used to be mischievous and love playing pranks, becomes the most lively and adorable good boy. If anyone dares pick on Dad Ye Bai, he'll ram right into them. It really hurts!
*
Ye Bai's friends encourage him to build a career of his own instead of depending on someone else. What if he's abandoned someday?
So Ye Bai starts a social media account and films videos of himself making food. Before he can achieve anything, though, he ends up injuring himself.
Hang Yuan learns about his anxiety and immediately signs an agreement stating that if he cheats, he'll leave the marriage with nothing.
The man even clings to him, looking aggrieved. "Am I not giving you enough security? I guess I'll have to work even harder."
Ye Bai's explanations are swallowed up...
*
Later, Ye Bai's food channel becomes an overnight sensation, and he's invited to appear on a variety show. To his surprise, a hopeless flirt makes a public declaration of love to him on the show.
Ye Bai smiles, his eyes curving. "Sorry, I'm already married. My child is in elementary school."
Countless new fans lament: Why do handsome men always marry so young!

Upcoming work: My Fussy Husband Wants to Marry for Money
Blurb:
I.
After transmigrating into a book, I have no skills, no money, no food, and a whole family to support. How am I supposed to get by...
Yu Er Yang is of average intelligence, too weak to carry a load or lift a hand. He's no scholar who can take the exams, nor an inventor who can come up with new things. As for fighting, he can't even slaughter a chicken... With all that going for him, naturally no prince or young noble is going to descend from the heavens to sweep him into a domineering romance (wipes away a tear). To support himself and his tagalong family, he wracks his brains and gives it everything he's got. He's grown potatoes and raised chicks. At last, he manages to attach himself to a scholar from a wealthy family, only to discover that every member of the family is a stingy old miser...
Sigh, I guess marrying for money is no match for relying on myself!
II.
If he'd known he'd transmigrate into a book, Yu Er Yang would have memorized the whole thing, right down to the punctuation! Unfortunately, he read it once and forgot even the main character's name. By the time he finally remembers to cozy up to the protagonist, the man has already made his fortune. Too late...
With no other choice, he picks up his pen. After all, he was something of a "voracious reader" in his past life. Writing a few melodramatic novels should be easy. He just absolutely must not let his secret identity slip, or he'll surely get beaten up...
At first, the scholar says, "These words corrupt the mind and ruin people's morals. My family's publishing house will never print them."
Later, the same scholar says, "Quit slacking and get back to writing!"
III.
Ever since Song Yu could remember, his family had been embroiled in bitter disputes over money, and everyone was so calculating that he'd grown into the sort of person who never lifted a finger without a reward.
He honors his father by taking his place, all to compete with his cousins and younger half-brother for the family fortune.
He makes friends because one of them has exam prep books he's never seen before.
Even when it comes to marriage, he should choose the person who benefits him most.
Yu Er Yang is puzzled. "How am I useful to you?"
The scholar Song smiles. "Seeing you makes me happy. That's the greatest benefit of all."
1. The protagonist did not actually transmigrate; he has no golden finger.
2. The original book follows the business and imperial exam genre conventions. It's not a story about someone being used as a foil.
3. There will be a child much later in the story.
Theme: Treasure every day of your life.
Only zero times and countless times
