My Secret Moonlight [Secret Love Comes True]

#UnrequitedLoveComesTrue

Blurb:

Chu Yi's youth was dark and silent.

This isn't a figure of speech.

It's simply a statement.

She couldn't hear.

After an accident left her suddenly deaf, she began wearing hearing aids, and from then on, her youth lost its sound.

She transferred to a new city and a new school.

There, she met someone new.

Wen Zhuozhi barged straight into her youth,

raising a storm in his wake.

-

Years later, when she talked about him with a friend, she still couldn't help saying:

"He really is a good person."

He learned all about the lives of people with hearing impairments, and deliberately led her into the world of hearing people.

He brought color to her world.

But he seemed too far away. She could only gaze at him from afar, never daring to reach out.

When those words reached Wen Zhuozhi, he silently finished a cigarette,

picked up his coat, and turned to leave.

His friend hurriedly stopped him and asked where he was going.

"To tell someone that I'm not the 'good person' she thinks I am."

He'd barged into her youth with all the force of a storm, and it had never been just to be a stranger, let alone a good person.

-

"Wen Zhuozhi, I love you."

"Then did you hear my heartbeat?"

"I did."

Loud enough to shake the world.
