Reincarnated as the Cannon-Fodder Senior Brother of the Dragon-Slaying Protagonist

My junior brother is the Child of Destiny, the overpowered hero fated to save this world, carrying the earnest hopes of countless senior cultivators.

I'm just his utterly ordinary cannon-fodder senior brother, here to clap enthusiastically every time he coolly sheathes his sword and say, "A young talent indeed. Your future is limitless."

Back then, my junior brother was a clueless little rookie who knew nothing about cultivation. He followed me everywhere day after day, insisting that he wanted to join a righteous immortal sect, no matter what I said.

I told him our sect was dirt poor, and that we might as well check out the demonic sect next door.

He wouldn't listen. He insisted on becoming my junior brother, and no matter how many times I tried to shake him off, I couldn't.

Until I refused to become a cultivation furnace, gave up all my cultivation, crossed the River of Forgetfulness, and descended into the underworld. After dying once, I returned to the sect, thinking my junior brother definitely wouldn't be able to find me this time.

Then someone behind me suddenly called out, "Senior Brother."

Before I could react, the person behind me wrapped me in a tight embrace, squeezing the air out of my lungs. But my junior brother's voice by my ear held a joy I'd never heard before:

"Senior Brother, you finally agreed to visit me in my dreams."

1v1, both leads are each other's first and only, happy ending
