[FATE FGO] Besieged

I don't know who that lovesick guy in 265 is. I started this fic because I'm fed up with stories about foolish emperors.

--

The emperor guards the border, and the sovereign dies with the kingdom.

When Constantine learned there was a prison cell inside the city gate, he was undoubtedly surprised.

The prisoner inside was the criminal responsible for the country's destruction, all because she hadn't locked the little gate.

A being created from historians' conjectures, and the "her" who was simply invented and then denied, were so much alike.

Like the light that fell through emerald branches and into his outstretched hand when he was a child, its dazzling brilliance and serenity stayed with Constantine for a long time.
