[Shakugan No Shana] Bloodline Heir

The time is the early sixteenth century. The place is the Holy Roman Empire. In a corner of a patchwork union of principalities, church lands, and knightly domains, at the foot of the Harz Mountains where the central highlands dividing Europe meet the northern German plains, a great battle is underway. Those who fought in person and those who had only heard of it alike called it the "Great Battle." Yet it never appeared in human history books. It was a hidden battle between the Flamehaze and the Crimson Denizens. They were beings with powers beyond those of ordinary humans. Visitors from another world, who ran rampant through this one and had the power to freely twist all things and events, clashed in a ferocious conflict with the espers determined to stop them from unleashing a colossal wave of destruction. Against a formidable enemy like the Church of the Crimson Denizens, the Flamehaze side had two secret weapons. They were recognized by everyone, including the Crimson Apostles, as the strongest of the present age: Matilda Saint-Mil, the Flame Haze warrior of Alastor, the Heaven-Shaking Flame, known as the Flame-Haired, Blazing-Eyed Hunter; and her dear friend, the taciturn Tiamat, together with the peerless dancer and martial artist Wilhelmina Carmel. What the world did not know, however, was of the romance between that Flame Haze warrior and the Crimson Lord, between Matilda and Alastor, and... Their "biological" daughter. Could a being who did not exist in the original story change the course of history? And where would she lead the great river of time? A pure wish-fulfillment work, a short story, with the pairing already decided.
