Wei Tao is inexplicably dragged into a live-action murder mystery game called Detectives Must Die. The roles of detective and murderer are played in turn, one riddle after another awaits a solution, and the threat of death lurks everywhere. Who will be lucky enough to survive to the end?
In this tense, brain-burning game, everyone is on high alert, not daring to let their guard down for even a moment, except Wei Tao and Kang Nai.
The first time they see each other, against a backdrop of flying flesh and blood, the world seems to vanish. All they can see is each other.
Wei Tao & Kang Nai: Oh no, my head's getting itchy... Am I growing a lovesick brain?
And so, from then on, the way they act is always at odds with everyone else's:
Everyone else, brainstorming: Who is the murderer?
Wei Tao & Kang Nai, brainstorming: How can I get his attention?
Everyone else, thinking hard: Why did the murderer kill? What was the motive?
Wei Tao & Kang Nai, thinking hard: What should I wear on our date?
Everyone else, racking their brains: What method did the murderer use?
Wei Tao & Kang Nai, racking their brains: Is it too soon to get together after only half a month?
Everyone else: Enough already!!!
As time went on, the single players had to endure both the pressure of surviving a terrifying game and the psychological assault of this nauseating couple, and resentment began to build. After all, one of the two looked like a reckless, brainless cannon fodder, while the other was a pretty weakling who wouldn't survive three episodes.
The now thoroughly warped players immediately decided: Respect, best wishes, stay together forever. You two are damn perfect for each other!
Their joy lasted all of three seconds before the brainless cannon fodder crushed them with his intelligence, and the pretty weakling crushed them with brute force.
Everyone else: Turns out I'm the clown.
