After Faking My Death, I Was Locked in a Room

A capricious, flirtatious girl transmigrated into a book × a brooding, loyal villain with a System

Wu Qing transmigrated into the villain's fiancee, and the kind who was cheating on him, too.

When she opened her eyes, she was holding an important document belonging to the villain and meeting the male lead. If she handed it over, the villain would suffer a devastating blow. A month later, after uncovering the truth, the villain would take his revenge on her and leave her with a miserable fate.

Tears in her eyes, she stared at the genuine document she was about to hand over. Under the male lead's expectant gaze, she resolutely pulled it back.

This wasn't a document. It was her life!

"I'm sorry. This document is fake."

Her eyes reddened. "He forced me, but I don't want to hurt you."

She didn't dare offend either the male lead or the villain.

After placating the male lead and saving her own skin, she decided to escape and put the document back where it belonged, pretending nothing had happened. But when she turned around, she saw the villain staring at her with a dark expression.

Wu Qing: "..."

According to the original plot, the villain shouldn't be here.

But thinking of the wise move she'd just made, she felt sure she was in the clear. Then the villain asked, "When did you find out the document was fake?"

Wu Qing: "..."

After a moment's silence, she asked, "First, tell me when it turned fake."

The villain: "..."

Later, Wu Qing died saving the villain.

The good news was that her soul returned to her own body. The bad news was that her body had transmigrated into the book.

Worse still, the villain had gone mad over her death, and when she appeared before him with a face identical to Wu Qing's, he locked her in a dark room.

Her: "..."

I ran away, got caught, became my own replacement, and got locked in a dark room.

'Maybe the book I read was fake.'

'The plot has bolted like a wild horse and isn't coming back.'

'I'm dying. Nobody told me the villain came with a System before I transmigrated into the book!'

Premise: Follow your heart.
