When a Bratty Supporting Actress Becomes a Sweet and Innocent Heroine

Yao Keya was a conscientious cannon-fodder supporting female character, but a mistake by the System sent her into a goofy, sweet, satisfying romance novel as the heroine. She herself had no idea, and searched high and low for the heroine to complete her mission. When her reborn stepsister, a white lotus who played the victim and acted pitiful in an attempt to take everything from her, showed up, Yao Keya was both shocked and delighted. A tragic backstory, just like the heroine's supposed to have! This must be her! So she declared fiercely, "In this family, it's either her or me!" She thought her family would hate her and kick her out, leaving her to meet a tragic end and complete her mission perfectly. But after discussing it, her family kicked the white lotus stepsister out instead. Yao Keya: "..." Wait, something's not right here? When her fake best friend, who could see people's luck, plotted to frame her, Yao Keya was certain: She's gorgeous and knows how to stir up trouble. If she's not the heroine, I'll get down on my knees and call her Dad! So right in front of the male lead, she marched up and slapped her across the face. She thought the male lead would despise her for it, but instead he took her hand with tender concern and asked, "Does it hurt?" Yao Keya: "..." Dad. As she searched for the heroine, she kept her eyes on the male lead every day. The more she watched him, the more she realized something was off. Question: Why does the male lead stare at a cannon-fodder supporting character like a hungry wolf ready to pounce? She couldn't figure it out, until he used his forceful yet tender ways to drag her into the graveyard of marriage, leaving her nowhere to run. Only then did she finally understand. What?! She's the heroine? Theme: Look at the world with kindness.
