After I Married a Widow Omega, She Started Treating Me as a Substitute

A possessive, lovesick omega who knows how to play a part vs. a genuinely invincible, lovesick alpha

(Alpha's name to be changed; blurb unchanged)

After returning from the interstellar battlefield, Meng Shanxue meets a widowed omega.

The omega is frail and pitiful. Even the sorrow between her brows stirs Meng Shanxue's desire to protect her.

Ignoring her family's objections, she insists on being with her.

"You'll love me your whole life and give everything for me, right?"

Chu Lu likes to stroke her face and gaze at her tenderly as she asks.

"Of course. I love you."

Meng Shanxue always answers with certainty, pulling her into a tight embrace.

She knows Chu Lu is a widowed omega who lacks a sense of security. Even when she sleeps, she's like a little rabbit, curling up in someone's arms.

Until one day, her frail wife ties her to an operating table and softly calls someone else's name while holding a scalpel.

Only then does Meng Shanxue realize that everything Chu Lu has shown her was an act.

She only wants to use this body to bring her beloved alpha, the one she has always yearned for, back to life.

**Content warnings**

Extremely melodramatic and cliched; the author has no imagination.

The omega is not what the alpha thinks, and the omega is sick, but the alpha is a lovesick doormat. The author has a double standard, thanks.

My take on A/B/O; female alphas have no add-ons.

My take on interstellar fiction. Don't argue with me; whatever you say is right and great.
